Silicon Path PLLC ("Silicon Path Law," "we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience on our website, understand how visitors use our site, and support website functionality.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites recognize your browser, remember preferences, and improve overall performance. Similar technologies - such as pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage — may also be used for the same purposes and are covered by this policy.
2. Consent & Your Choices
When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner will appear before any non-essential cookies are loaded. You will be given the following options:
- Accept All — allows all categories of cookies to run
- Reject All — blocks all non-essential cookies; only strictly necessary cookies will run
- Manage Preferences — allows you to toggle individual cookie categories on or off
Both "Accept All" and "Reject All" are presented with equal prominence. Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) will not fire until you make an active choice.
You may change your preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of our website. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, form submissions, security features, and storing your cookie preference settings.
Because these cookies are essential, they do not require your consent and cannot be disabled through our consent banner. You may disable them through your browser settings, but doing so will likely prevent portions of the website from functioning properly.
Analytics Cookies
We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics (loaded via Google Tag Manager), to understand how visitors interact with our website. These cookies collect information such as:
- Pages visited
- Time spent on the website
- Traffic sources
- Device and browser information
The information collected is aggregated and anonymized and is used solely to improve website performance and user experience. IP anonymization is enabled in our Google Analytics configuration, meaning full IP addresses are not stored.
Analytics cookies are only loaded after you provide consent via the banner.
For more information about Google Analytics and privacy, visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, use the browser add-on at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Social Media Cookies
Our website includes links to social media platforms — LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram. At present, we do not embed active social media widgets or tracking pixels (such as the Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag) directly on our pages.
If social media tracking tags are added in future, this policy will be updated, the cookie inventory table in Section 4 will reflect those additions, and consent will be required before they fire.
When you click through to any social media platform, that platform may place its own cookies on your device. Silicon Path Law does not control those cookies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each platform.
Marketing / Targeting Cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and your prior consent will be sought before any marketing cookies are loaded.
4. Cookie Inventory
The following table lists all cookies currently active on this website:
| Cookie Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookieyes-consent | CookieYes / CMP | Essential | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 1 year |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguishes users (session-level) | 24 hours |
| ga* | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Maintains GA4 session state | 2 years |
| _gtm* | Google Tag Manager | Essential | Tag manager container load | Session |
This table is reviewed and updated whenever our tag configuration changes. Google Tag Manager (container ID: GTM-W7HXXZ8X ) is the mechanism through which analytics scripts are loaded. See Section 5 for more detail.
5. Google Tag Manager Disclosure
This website uses Google Tag Manager (GTM), container ID: GTM-W7HXXZ8X. GTM is a tag management system that allows us to deploy and manage third-party scripts (tags) from a single interface without modifying website code directly.
GTM itself does not collect personal data. However, the tags it loads -such as Google Analytics - may do so. We have configured GTM with consent mode, meaning non-essential tags are blocked from firing until user consent is obtained via our cookie consent banner.
We periodically audit active GTM tags and will update Section 4 and this section whenever new tags are added or removed.
6. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, a browser-level opt-out mechanism supported under California's CCPA/CPRA regulations.
If your browser or browser extension broadcasts a GPC signal when you visit our website, we will treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Non-essential cookies and data-sharing integrations will be suppressed accordingly.
When a GPC signal is detected, you will see a visible confirmation message on the page confirming that your opt-out preference has been applied, in compliance with California's 2026 GPC regulations.
7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. However, our use of Google Analytics involves sharing certain usage data with Google, which may qualify as "sharing" under the CPRA.
If you wish to opt out of this sharing, you may:
- Click Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the website footer
- Select "Reject All" or disable Analytics cookies via the Cookie Preferences banner
- Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser (see Section 6)
8. Managing Cookies
You have several ways to manage cookies:
Via our consent banner: Click "Cookie Preferences" in the footer to update your choices at any time. You can enable or disable individual cookie categories independently.
Via your browser settings: Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. Guidance for major browsers:
- Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
- Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy
- Edge: edge://settings/privacy
Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of this website from functioning correctly.

- Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out: https://optout.networkadvertising.org
- Digital Advertising Alliance: https://optout.aboutads.info

9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including when new cookies or tracking technologies are added to the website. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date and will become effective upon publication.
If we add new non-essential cookies, we will update the cookie inventory table in Section 4 and, where required, seek fresh consent through our banner.
